NDCT is currently seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer which will work under the general direction of the Software Engineering Manager. This individual will help with the testing and design of measurement and controls systems.
Desired Skills
Minimum 5 years software testing, preferably working with industrial software
Ability to connect and configure computer equipment through serial and Ethernet connections
Ability to perform binary troubleshooting
Basic understanding of Windows or Linux operating systems
Ability to write and follow manual test plans for complex systems including desktop, mobile, and embedded systems
Ability to use a Bug Logging tool such as JIRA or FogBugz
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work within an Agile Team.
Functions of the Job
Write and follow manual test plans
Work within an Agile development team to document agreed upon functional specifications
Help junior or outsourced software testers follow test plans
All other duties as assigned
Desired Education
Associates or Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in a technical or scientific field
