SAP Business Analyst Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - Summary/Objective: The Senior IT Business Analyst is responsible for the support of our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business applications (High Jump and SAP). This support will include the day to day operational support as well as the implementation of new capabilities aligned with business priorities.
Essential Functions:
Work directly with our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business functions to document business requirements and business benefits of the requested capabilities.
Continually strive to enhance or improve business systems processes that drive efficiency through use of best practices.
Provide day to day production support from incident creation to problem resolution working with our Application Maintenance Support supplier.
Provide project management for the deployment of new capabilities as well as vendor software upgrade projects.
Work directly with our application vendors to confirm and request additional capabilities as required to meet business priorities.
Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support and/or maintenance of systems
Participate in functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the development and the design team members.
Develop procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end state deliverable.
Collaborate with various technical teams to evaluate design alternatives, optimize design solution, and minimize impact to performance.
Develop and execute functional unit test cases in support of new application requirements.
Work with cross functional teams to perform test activities (e.g. integration, performance, user acceptance).
Support the deployment of production applications and provide post-production support related to custom system enhancements and integration points.

Required Education and Experience:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Education and Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business/Accounting, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of IT Business Analyst and Project Management experience
Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to SAP to coordinate and assist with the detailed technical design of FRICEW objects
High Jump DSD knowledge preferred.
SAP Sales and Distribution and DSD knowledge is preferred.
SAP Configuration experience preferred
