Southwestern Eye Center is currently seeking a full-time Report Developer / Data Analyst for our Corporate Office in Mesa, AZ . This position compiles and examines operational and financial information across all divisions of the organization. Provides analyses and data to support informed business decision-making. Assists in the development of improved and efficient processes for analysis and reporting. Creates models, reports, and presentations to satisfy internal and external customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Import, transform, and validate operational and financial data to develop tables, charts, and models
Produce weekly, monthly, and volume-based statistics and enhance data collection processes
Assist in developing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting processes, benchmarks, and dashboards
Provide analysis and explanation of key business trends including budget and historical variances
Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for acquisitions, new services or service line development, and other ad-hoc projects.
Assist in preparing analysis, commentary and presentation material for monthly business review
Develop and enhance competitive intelligence processes and reporting tools
Assist with accounting month-end close projects and assignments
Support business office analysis of payor reimbursement and contracting
Provide value-added insight into the business.
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field and 2-3 years of related experience; Healthcare experience a plus but not required
Understanding of data analytics, data integrity, and data mining processes
Knowledge of relational database systems, business intelligence tools, and other data/financial systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; SQL programming skills helpful
Ability to assimilate disparate systems to collect data in order to perform analysis
