Territory Sales Manager - Northeast US Region Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - Gorilla Grow Tent and Kind LED: Award winning indoor growing supply manufacturer seeks an experienced Territory Sales Manager in the Northeast US region. This position is responsible for understanding and developing assigned territory to maximize and grow revenue by selling our products to existing customers and acquiring new business within the hydroponic garden retailer and commercial grower industry.
ESSENTIAL :
Increase sales volume within assigned territory by developing new business opportunities and ensuring customer needs are met satisfactorily.
Develop and maintain relationships with major or key accounts within territory.
Act as liaison between company headquarters and the assigned territory.
Effectively utilize CRM to maintain and develop assigned territory.
Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects to understand their evolving business needs. Be available and responsive to customer?s real-time needs.
Positively and proactively collaborate with distributor accounts to optimize success.
Work with, and coach, distributor sales members to educate them on our brands and initiatives. Positively and proactively collaborate with distributor accounts to optimize success.
Provide an unrivaled quality of service to ensure our brands are front of mind.
Attend trade shows and conferences to promote company.
Ensure company?s presence in territory is meeting the company?s standards and expectations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
BA/BS preferred
Experience:
3+ years outside sales experience, B2B
Consumer product experience calling on independent retailers as well as multi-store locations
Skills:
Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification
Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
Strong attention to detail and high level or accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communications
Organized and able to meet strict guidelines
Ability to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency
Solid problem solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Ability to work effectively in a home-based environment
Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory (up to 75%)
