Sales Representative Job Opening in Ferndale, Washington - The Comphy Company , based on Ferndale, WA, is an importer and distributor of linen and luxury bedding, and we are growing! Our current Wellness division is hiring for a Sales Representative. We are seeking a positive, self-motivated individual who has the desire and ability to grow the Wellness division of our business via phone, email and face-to-face sales. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and customer interaction skills, and be able to demonstrate a calm and patient demeanor while handling high volumes of orders and inquiries. Must be willing and able to travel to Trade Shows approximately 3-6 weeks per year (non-consecutive).
The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm PDT, with possible overtime. Some weekends may be required during peak times and while traveling for Trade Shows.
This position is hourly + commission. Wage is negotiable, depending on experience. Benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, medical/dental/life insurance and 401k Plan.
Skills & Experience Required:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
A 2-yr or 4-yr college degree in business, marketing or related highly preferred. Direct may substitute for education requirements.
Must have one (1) to three (3) years? experience in direct sales, retail sales or similar. Prior experience in the spa industry preferred.
Must have desire to grow the Wellness division of our business through sales of all product offerings.
Must have an enthusiastic, charismatic and outgoing manner, while maintaining a business professional demeanor.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including ability to demonstrate excellent customer interaction and listening skills.
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail a must.
Must be self-directed with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and solve routine problems, and to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain composure, think clearly and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-task environment, and make quick decisions simultaneously is required.
Must have natural leadership skills and abilities.
