Responsible for the design of codes applications following specifications, guidelines and tools provided by the company.
Responsible for the regular performance of system analysis and development to insure that Fluent Home and its clients? systems are current with evolving technologies.
Responsible for the analysis of current software programs utilized by the company for numerous purposes including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting. Troubleshooting efforts will include review and evaluation of problematic programs and creation of solutions to address the issues.
Responsible for the planning, processing and performing of all software related tasks in an efficient manner.
Responsible for the provision of leadership and support regarding technical issues.
Responsible for the performance of research regarding software options and for the routine recommendation of preferred software products for the company.
Responsible for the regular maintenance of the company?s software products.
Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the company?s existing and acquired software products including both automated updates and manual updates.
Responsible for the completion of software projects as assigned.
All other duties as assigned and reasonably associated with this position.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse group of staff and clients especially as needed to attend to their software related needs.
A demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
A strong ability to train and interface with IT staff and other non-technical members of the organization.
A strong knowledge and skill set with database design, development and implementation a plus;
A strong knowledge and skill set with web design, development and implementation a plus;
Must be self motivated and have the ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner with a minimal degree of supervision;
Must have strong technical aptitude.
Must have strong communication and problem solving skills.
Must be highly flexible and available and willing to work long hour and weekends to complete urgent or time sensitive projects
The minimum qualifications for this position include the following:
A minimum of two (2) years experience working with C# development;
A minimum of two (2) years experience working with in recent jobs;
A minimum of two (2) years experience Building Web Applications using CSS, HTML, and Visual Studio;
Experience with the following is preferred but not required:
SQL Server 2008
Web Technology (XML, HTML, Java Script, JQuery, Angular, React)
Crystal Reports and MS Reporting Services
Data Object Mapping (Entity Framework, LINK to SQL)
Web Services (WSDL, REST)
Windows Form experience
MVC
Android
Android Studio
Previous experience working in an alarm security company is preferred but not required.
