Your Role at HotDocs
In this position you will play an essential role in the continued development of our core product line. Your efforts will be appreciated by a large and growing community of HotDocs users who span a variety of industries around the globe. In this position, you will:
Be responsible for the technical design and implementation of major product features
Participate in an Agile/Scrum product development process
Bring significant insights to design discussions based on past development experience
Write and use unit tests to ensure your code meets planned design and behavior functionality
Diagnose and resolve problems using deductive reasoning and debugging tools
Occasionally interface with customers to obtain and analyze product feedback
Stay abreast of new developments within industry areas of expertise
Work independently and as part of a team
Required Skills and Experience
The following skills and attributes are essential to this role:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent technical experience
1 to 4 years? experience writing software
Experience using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML5
Competency with the C# language, including generics, Linq, and asynchronous programming
Experience with JSON and/or XML processing
Excellent problem solver and communicator
Self-directed and respected by peers
Desirable Technical Skills
Creating or working with REST web services on
Exposure to Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) or Silverlight
Understanding of the MVVM pattern and its use with XAML development
A graphic design aptitude accompanied by graphical design experience using a suitable design tool
