Description
Develops an understanding of the internal user community's SharePoint sites and how they support the business functions
Translates user needs into requirements and delivers ready to use solutions.
Participates in and/or leads all phases of the development life cycle for problem resolution. Delivers support to end users in the organization about using SharePoint software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Use accepted project management, application development and documentation standards and processes
2. Follow and practice current IT policies and procedures and development methodologies
3. Work with customers and/or technical staff to resolve issues and develop solutions
4. Conduct process and requirement reviews to assure quality
5. Develop, test, implement, document and maintain business system solutions within SharePoint platforms
6. Provide in-house software training to allow users basic site maintenance and functionality
Functional skills
1. Analytical and problem-solving skills
2. Good understanding of all technical phases of systems life-cycle (analysis, design, implementation and maintenance)
3. Understanding of the business process and opportunity for improvement
4. Working knowledge of SharePoint to operate independently at the Site collection level
5. Ability to create forms and workflows including management and maintenance of existing sites 6. Strong desire for SSRS report writing skills
7. Strong understanding of Program Management processes and tools (PMI, Scheduling, MS Office)
8. Ability to communicate effectively listening, orally and in writing
