Truck Sales Consultant Job Opening in Davenport, Iowa - Truck Sales Consultant Responsibilities:
Identify and profile prospective customers using company supplied tools.
Put plan into action to develop these customer prospects.
Call on assigned accounts within territory and develop new prospects.
Identify customer needs and sell the dealership capabilities to meet those needs.
Keep current on market and customer trends and report on competitive activity.
Stay informed on new products and industry information that will assist in sales efforts.
Coordinate efforts with outside parts and service personnel to achieve full market penetration.
Inform all departments of customer needs.
Achieve 15% market share within territory.
Sell 80 or more new/used vehicles per year.
Truck Sales Consultant Qualifications:
Ability to listen and communicate with customers and co-workers.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have valid driver?s license and be willing to travel within assigned territory.
Two years of industry experience preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to clearly communicate updates to senior management and key dealer personnel.
CDL preferred.
Truck Sales Consultant Education:
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
Ambition, Excitement and Eagerness to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00 to $200,000.00 /year
