Northwest Behavioral Healthcare Services is recruiting for qualified candidates to fill full-time, and part-time positions in the house keeping department.
Overview:
We are a secure inpatient facility that serves the Northwest and beyond, providing solution focused therapy as our primary treatment philosophy for teenagers in crisis.
Our maintenance and house keeping staff play a incredibly important roll in our program, providing our adolescents a clean, organized, and safe environment where they can be given the surroundings to grow, learn, recover, and find healing in their hurting stories. Applicants for the house keeping department must be able to complete tasks such as mopping, cleaning bathrooms and showers, changing linens, removing graffiti, sanitizing for infection control, and emptying garbage. Applicants must also be task oriented team players that are willing to accept instruction from the Maintenance Coordinator and coworkers.
Responsibilities:
House keeping product inventory
Maintain state regulated health code standards
Comply with secure residential safety procedures
Participate, develop, and implement infection control prevention plans
Ensure the safety of clients and staff through complying with policies and procedures
Assist clients with personal needs while in their housing suites
Be aware of your surroundings due to the nature of our clients
Qualifications:
If you are interested in being a part of an energetic, positive, and passionate team of counselors, therapists, and medical staff, we are accepting applicants that are like minded. Potential maintenance and house keeping staff must also be able to work professionally and positively with others while promoting team building within the client and staff community. Two years of house keeping, repair, or maintenance work experience in a residential, hospital, or other school setting is preferred, but will not disqualify a potential applicant from employment if able to show applicable experience.
Employment Contingencies:
Must be able to clear a criminal back ground check
Must be able to pass a full drug screen. Due to the nature of our clientele and our mission, this will include marijuana, even though its recent legalization.
