Staff Accountant Job Opening in Indianapolis, Indiana - TO $50k! Our client is a nationally known media company with a growing office on the North side of Indianapolis and has an immediate need for an experienced Staff Accountant. In this role, you will work in a team environment, assisting in all areas of GL Accounting and month-end close process. This includes preparing and analyzing monthly journal entries and the reconciliation and analysis of assigned balance sheet accounts - taking the initiative to resolve any balancing issues.
Other duties include preparing special, year-end audit and corporate tax requests, auditing AP expense reports, and special projects as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Accounting or business related concentration and 1+ year of experience (may consider recent grads with good internships). Good problem solving, organizational, and time management skills are a must as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
