Software Engineer Job Opening in Maitland, Florida - SimiGon Inc is looking for junior/entry-level programmers to join our courseware development team consisting of software engineers, instructional designers, subject-matter experts, quality assurance, and configuration management specialists. Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Use approved storyboards to develop training modules using SimiGon?s proprietary platform, SIMbox.
Collaborate with instructional designers and pilot SMEs to understand training design concepts.
Apply operational logic and the program style guide, as needed, in support of the courseware development effort.
Rework training models per internal and/or customer generated discrepancy reports within planned timeline constraints.
Program efficient scripts to make various lesson features work, ensuring that sound, simulation, and timing function as intended.
Prior experience and familiarity with the following are highly desirable :
LMS/LCMS Platforms
Gaming Design
Aerospace Industry
Department of Defense (DoD)
Authoring Tools
Courseware Development
Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of development experience within the Microsoft development platform
C++ development skills and experience developing in Windows environment
The candidate must have general understanding of software development processes to include object-oriented development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with C# ? an advantage
Self-Starter Individuals who can be handed a task and take over with motivation
