Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a software engineer who?s seen past success in building frontends to great , who?s collaborated with their teams to deliver outstanding user experiences to customers. You?ll have done this with newer frontend technologies and techniques ? we use Microsoft , Angular, and Ionic ? and have integrated with existing backends and services. You?re looking for your next big challenge, where you parlay past successes into building our breakthrough product!
What You'll Be Doing
Rolling out new features, and analyzing (and reacting to) the data we collect make the product even better. We love using data to inform our decisions!
Creating clean, consistent, and snappy user interfaces that are easy-to-use and delights our customers.
Brainstorming with a dynamic team to flesh out new ideas and investigate tricky issues.
Searching creatively for the best solution, while being able to recognize a released feature now that can be iterated on is better than a perfect one later.
Working with Marketing, Client Success, and the Executive teams to identify/resolve all issues that could impact our products, services, and end-user satisfaction.
Providing technical and thought leadership within your knowledge domain, and setting a precedent for operational excellence across engineering.
Experience and Skills Required
Successful history of delivering frontend features for complex, medium- to large-size software projects. Past experience working on a team building great applications with frequent delivery to real customers.
Deep knowledge of Javascript and its frameworks needed. Javascript is the lingua franca of our frontend, and you?ll need to speak it fluently, along with its dialects and helpers in Angular, jQuery, jQuery UI, etc.
Previous experience with , MVC, or working with Microsoft frontend technologies. We?re a Microsoft shop, and our web and its APIs are served on the Microsoft stack.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a peer group of software engineers.
Ability to comprehend, analyze and research problems of a complex nature, make judgment decisions and recommendations as to the solution, including defending those proposals with your peers.
Nice bonus: past experience or knowledge of mobile application development using Ionic, Cordova, or similar frameworks.
