General Accounting Manager/Controller Job Opening in Glen Ellyn, Illinois - General Accounting Manager ? reporting to the CFO
Prepare monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow statement) for certain entities owned by Parent Company.
Review results compared to budget and work with manager and local employees to explain variations
Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliation for important accounts of the entities
Assist in the preparation of budgets for the various entities
Assist outside accounting firm in the preparation of tax returns, audit, and other filing requirements
Perform analysis as requested from CFO and senior staff related to assigned entities.
Assist CFO in preparation of reporting to investors including quarterly investment letters
Assist in Investor relations including answering questions and preparing reports and analysis
Other projects as assigned
Requirements
Proficient in Excel
BS in Accounting
Minimum of 6 years? accounting experience
Communication skills both written and verbal
Public accounting experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
