Software Developer Job Opening in Louisville, Kentucky - Responsibilities :
Consult with managerial and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
Use Agile/Scrum methodologies to perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of software applications.
Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using design diagrams, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.
Conduct various testing cycles and trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired results.
Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Help make architectural decisions for the future of the software and infrastructure that runs it.
Qualifications:
Passion for software development primarily with Microsoft technologies including but not limited to:
C#, 4.0+, MVC 5, Ajax, Javascript, Visual Studio 2015, Sql Server 2014, Entity Framework 6, TFS, Scrum Agile methodologies, Test Driven Design/Development
Fast learning skills and effective information acquisition strategies.
Ability to work closely with a small team of designers and developers.
Creative visualization, critical thinking, inductive and deductive reasoning.
Collaborative coordination and time management.
Capacity to work under pressure while observing high quality standards.
Fluency in English language.
Capacity to work under pressure while observing high quality standards.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM and Acceptance Test creation.
Ability to perform team-lead decision-making functions.
