Jr. Paralegal Job Opening in Brentwood, Tennessee - Title: Paralegal (Jr. Level) 1-2 years experience
Required: Paralegal
Purpose:
Investigates and analyzes accident injury accounts in order to properly identify and coordinate insurance benefits. Works closely with the patient and their representatives until the claim has been resolved.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Perform daily tasks presented by manager such as account work, special projects, or requests
Reviews all available account/claim information, as well as provider notes, and then contacts the appropriate parties.
Communicates by telephone, and in writing, with attorneys, their offices patients, and/or insurance companies
Sends billing information to automobile insurance carriers, health insurance carriers, and attorneys offices.
Tracks the status of insurance claims, litigated cases, and settlements until accounts are paid/resolved.
Become familiar with State laws governing hospital liens and other statutes.
