Job Description:
Performs procedures to test the effectiveness of established controls in preventing or detecting misstatements at the relevant level and providing an adequate level of risk mitigation.
Capture evidence of test procedures and control evidence in accordance with department procedure and best practices.
Evaluate and document test results and control assessments for controls tested. Provide input, or perform as applicable, risk assessments to determine level of risk mitigation provided by established controls.
Report to management results of testing performed.
Must have Knowledge of bank operations and procedures (including loan closings and documentation); prior experience in auditing or control testing; able to work in excel; able to read prior documentation of testing and be able to figure out how to test the current documentation.
