Senior Pricing Analyst Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - We are currently partnering with a well established federal contractor, currently located in Chantilly, VA, on their search for a senior pricing analyst. For this temp-to-hire position, the senior cost/pricing analyst will prepare cost proposals in the federal marketplace, including cost narrative and financial spreadsheets. Act as a liaison for cost proposal-related matters between proposal managers, service center staff, and company subsidiaries.

Senior Pricing Analyst Responsibilities (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position):
Provide cost estimating/pricing support for the more complex and higher value pricing efforts
Perform lead duties on larger pricing efforts by coordinating the efforts of junior cost/pricing analysts assigned to the project
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

Edit/proof work for spelling, grammar, and format consistency

Senior Pricing Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience OR a High School Diploma or the equivalent and 9 years of related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert proficiency in MS Excel
Knowledge of Service Contract Act, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other Government-related applicable standards and regulations
Knowledge of market and competition

Mathematical Skills ? Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; Ability to create, implement, and verify formulas in Excel spreadsheets

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data; Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
