Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Day position Job Opening in Medford, Oregon - This position is available to Master's-degree prepared Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who have prior experience working in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (either as a RN or NNP).

A community-led physician's group is seeking (1) Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to help staff its 32-bed, Level IIIB NICU (ADC 18-20).
The NNP will provide healthcare to neonates and infants in the NICU and Maternal Child Departments, while working in collaboration with one of the in-house Neonatologists.
In addition to caring for patients from admission to discharge, the NNP will be responsible for history and physicals, daily evaluations, airway and cardio-respiratory management, test interpretation and evaluation, prescribing pharmacologic agents, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and optimizing communication with parents and families.
The 1.0 FTE position is comprised primarily of 8-hour day shifts with some weekend and holiday coverage.
No transport responsibility.

Requirements:
MSN and NCC certification are all required.
New NNP graduates candidates must have at least 2 years of Level III NICU nursing experience.
