Salary: $90,000-$110,000/year
The Senior SOX Auditor will assist in identifying and assessing Company financial reporting risks, by coordinating with business units to plan and conduct testing of internal controls and draw conclusions as to their effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in financial reporting risk analysis of the Company to identify mitigating controls, particularly with the more complex activities
Identifying best practices and creating new polices to be implemented on a global scale with considerations for SOX compliance guidelines
Developing a thorough understanding of processes and controls through walkthroughs. This knowledge will be used to Identify and evaluate financial and technology risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvements
Planning and executing the SOX testing protocol for your assigned regions, thoroughly documenting the process and findings so that your work can be reviewed internally and by our external, independent auditors
Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited institution
3 to 6, or more, years auditing experience; preferably insurance or finance industry
Possess one or more relevant professional certifications (i.e. CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE) is desirable, but not required
