Accounting and Office Assistant Job Opening in New Haven, Indiana - We are looking for a skilled Accounting Assistant to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks as well as general office functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide accounting and clerical support to business office
* Summarize weekly sales reports
* Data entry into accounting software
* Accounts payable duties
* Manage workflows to ensure timely completion of tasks
Qualifications:
* Proven accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable
* Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
* Competency in accounting software including proficiency in Excel
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Solid decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work with confidential information
* Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
* Desire / ability to work successfully in a small company environment
