We are currently looking for an Administrative/ Accounting Assistant to join our friendly team, who share our desire to deliver "knock your socks off customer service". This is a full time position with hours of operation Monday ? Friday 7:00am ? 4:00pm, starting at $15.00+ depending on experience, medical benefits, and retirement plan offered. Successful completion of substance test and a background check are mandatory.
GOALS:
Provide overall office support in both bookkeeping and secretarial aspects.
Deliver ?knock your socks off customer service? to external & internal customers.
Help to achieve company profitability goal.
TYPICAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer phones
Process mail
Process purchase orders
Create work orders
Travel planning
Data entry
Gathering supporting documents for contracts
Purchasing and organizing office supplies
Following up quotes
Take minutes during meetings
Call customers to schedule preventative maintenance services & fire door testing
Secretarial duties, including filing
Contribute to a positive working environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Energetic and enthusiastic regardless of task at hand
Be a good listener
Caring and eager to provide outstanding service to all customers
Attention to detail
Excellent organization and prioritization skills for fast pace work in a multi-tasking environment
Demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills in both a team and individual environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all corporate and personnel matters
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and data entry
Dependable with excellent attendance history and punctuality
Minimum 45 wpm keyboarding speed
Able to take a project and see it through to fruition with minimal supervision
Associates Degree or higher a plus, but can be waived dependent on level of experience
