Technical Responsibilities: Billers work interchangeably as a result of cross training and may be assigned to any of the technical task responsibilities below, dependent upon the needs of the practice.

Qualifications:
Prior medical billing and accounts receivable (NEW GRADS WELCOMED)
Skilled at reading and interpreting
EOB's (Explanation of Benefits)
Keyboarding minimum 40 wpm.
Must be a proactive problem solver,
Teamwork and trust, and be highly skilled in prioritizing,
Organizing, planning, communication and staying on track.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extensive hands-on computer background.
Must be able to work in a highly demanding atmosphere, with a variety of personalities within a fast paced environment.
Appropriately manage patient billing questions Identify and report correct codes
Identify appropriate documentation and gaps in advance or claim creation
Claim creation and submission
Denial Management and reprocessing
Understand reason codes
Payment posting
A/R
Prepare and send statements to patients
Demonstrate discipline and the ability to work independently
Knowledge of commercial insurance contract practices,
