RMA/CMA Population Health Job Opening in Colorado Springs, Colorado - Matthews-Vu Medical Group is a busy, well-established, family owned and operated medical practice that is dedicated to providing high quality care to every patient from birth to end of life. The focus of our Population Health Department is to improve the health outcomes for our entire patient population. This department has quadrupled in size over the last year and is touching the lives of patients in many creative ways, with a primary focus of leading our practice through this healthcare revolution.
We currently have an opening for a full-time, talented and compassionate RMA to join our population health team! The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years? experience in the clinic setting with strong communication skills, creativity and attention to detail.

Skills:
3 years of primary care/family medicine or pediatrics experience preferred
Detail oriented and eagerness to learn innovative ways to report structured data for various government programs with the understanding of consistent workflow changes and challenges
Follow up calls to every patient who has discharged from the ED or from an inpatient stay within a specific timeframe
Previous participation in the clinical setting with Meaningful Use, CPC+ and/or Population Health preferred
Effective communication with patients and their family members or caregivers during transitions of care
The ability to meet strict deadlines on a continuous basis and manage workflow effectively
Ability to test new workflows and provide feedback to supervisor
Experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills required
Willingness to cover RMA tasks and shifts as staffing challenges arise
Ability to adapt to change on a frequent basis is mandatory
