The Campus Advantage Assistant Property Manager is a critically important, challenging and rewarding position! They serve a foundational role in the day-to-day operations of the property. They ensure proper implementation of the financial and administrative aspects of the operation.

Job Summary
The Assistant Property Manager (Assistant General Manager) is responsible for maximizing the collection of rents and monies due while maintaining resident records and property financial data.
Responsibilities Here?s what the Assistant Property Manager does at Campus Advantage communities:
Income Collection
Maintain accurate resident data base and property financial data
Collect and accurately post rent and other income
Make daily bank deposits
Process account payable invoices and checks for approval by General Manager
Implement and monitor aggressive collection process for delinquencies
Administrative
Assist the General Manager in preparation of weekly and monthly reporting
Ensuring all applicants, new move-ins, and renewals are entered into the database
Assist the Resident Director with Residence Life Programs and Community Assistant staff
General
Maintain key control of occupied and vacant units
Participate in property inspections, quarterly, move-in and move-out
Resident Relations
Provide professional resident relations.
Address complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Assist residents with the move-in and move-out process
Marketing
Administer and manage renewal program
Assist with leasing responsibilities to maximize occupancy
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience as an Assistant Property Manager or Bookkeeper
Previous bookkeeping experience in both A/R and A/P preferred
Computer literacy required - Excel knowledge a must
Must possess strong arithmetic ability
Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
