About Us: We?re an event based company that offers fun experiences utilizing edged weapons throwing to large groups for birthday parties, corporate teambuilding events & parties. We are seeking an energetic & motivated individual with an entrepreneur spirit to help manage and coordinate the organization through the initial startup of our first site to future expansion and franchise development.
About you: We?re looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial individual with a strong attention to detail, highly organized, good at problem solving, and has a proven ability to think critically. We will consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including office management, project management or a general business background with related experience. The ideal candidate with have hospitality management experience in recreational type services, possess superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to assist the owner on various projects. You must have exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage ongoing and ad hoc deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
Manage daily operations ensuring smooth and seamless functioning of online booking, corporate/private event coordination and walk-in customer support.
Managing a staff of 6 full and part-time employees with time/attendance, pay, performance, and training requirements.
Conduct marketing campaigns using multiple media types to increase engagement and booking of the venue
Oversee and manage warehousing tasks, ordering of materials, planning for future material needs, developing a long term sustainment plan to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct daily financial operations from opening to closing to ensure reliable vendor payment processing, employee pay processing, and oversight of online booking operations.
Hiring, employee training and termination as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in hospitality, leisure or tourism management, business management or the equivalent.
Excellent oral and written fluency in English. (Bilingual in Spanish as well a plus)
Possess an excellent work ethic
Possess proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs
Possess proficiency in Social media applications (Facebook, Twitter ect)
Possess a valid unrestricted drivers license.
General accounting knowledge is an asset.
Must be detail oriented, discreet, and possess analytical and organizational skills.
Must be custom serviced oriented and driven
