Clinical Nurse Leader - Endoscopy and P.A.T Job Opening in Providence, Rhode island - We are currently seeking a full time Days Clinical Nurse Leader of Endoscopy and Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.
Summary :
Under the direction of the Director of the Peiroperative Department, maintains 24 hour accountability for the delivery of quality, cost-effective services of the Endoscopy and PAT (Pre-admission Testing) Departments, in compliance with all regulatory and licensing standards.
Assists with establishing standards for delivery of services, scope and evaluation of standards.
Recommends purchase of capital equipment.
Develops implements and evaluates a management plan which includes financial, clinical quality, human resources and professional practice components with the Director.
Oversees the daily flow and functions of the Units.
Responsible for the assessment of the unit employees' educational needs.
Ensures completeness of all clinical competencies, mandatory education programs, immunizations, performance evaluations, etc..
Ensures all employees are competent to perform job functions on the unit.
Interprets philosophy, goals, objectives, policies and procedures for all personnel, patients and the public.
Sustains standards for Shared Governance and High Reliability.
Consistently acts as a patient and employee advocate.
Improves quality of patient care and patient's perspective of their care as evidenced by HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems).
Ensures that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained at all times.
Follows the American Nursing Association (ANA) Standards.
Position Qualifications:
Current Rhode Island R.N. licensure required.
Current BLS required.
Current ACLS required
Education:
Nursing required.
Masters in Nursing or other health care field required.
RN license required.
Experience :
Seven to ten ( 7-10 ) years directly related experience.
Demonstrated competence with minimum of 3 (three years) relevant managerial experience
