Manager of Clinical Outcomes Job Opening in Omaha, Nebraska - The Manager of Clinical Outcomes (MOCO) is responsible for recruiting and retaining excellent providers, managing clinical informatics, and implementing and maintaining accreditation. The MOCO must be an entrepreneurial thinker who is results-driven and takes ownership of the company?s success.
The MOCO has primary responsibility provider recruitment and provider relations and affects internal and external operations, company strategy, and facility relations.
The MOCO reports to the Director of Operations with a reporting line to the Medical Director. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and administering provider resource plans and leading provider recruitment. A key responsibility is managing providers? expectations and building a culture of inclusion and education for these individuals who work remotely. The MOCO will also support the Medical Director in peer review and provider clinical education.
In support of creating an outstanding provider environment, this position is responsible for a variety of informatics and accreditation services critical to company success and compliance. The position is responsible for improving the quality of the company?s clinical information data and systems in support of favorable patient outcomes.
Provider Development and Relations:
Evaluate current provider environment; design and deliver best practices to create and maintain a positive, productive culture.
Identify professional development needs of contracted providers and facility staff and deploy effective training and provider resource plans.
Continuously audit on-boarding procedures and redefine as needed for optimum efficiency and inclusion.
Provide counsel in provider matters.
Provide guidance and leadership for performance guidelines, policies and procedures, standards and qualifications.
Support Medical Director in peer review processes.
Develop on-going support programs to keep staff engaged and connected.
Ensure the talent pipeline for the future through discovery assessment, and selection of talent.
Develop partnerships with psychiatric mental health practitioner programs at nursing schools.
Oversee practicum programs with Encounter providers and students.
Informatics:
Liaise with EHR vendor on system upgrades, releases, and hotfixes.
Develop a change management process as it relates to the EHR, including a communication plan for impending changes.
Design and implement company specific EHR training materials for providers, including the aspects of their workflows which include requirements for accreditation and regulatory reporting.
Train new providers to use the company EHR and video conferencing systems effectively.
Complete Quality Payment Program (QPP) gap analysis according to the MACRA final rule and assist in the development of a strategic plan to achieve successful attestation for all eligible providers with a focus on quality improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Understands quality patient care is every employee?s priority.
Bachelor?s degree in clinical or related healthcare field
Current Nebraska or Compact RN License
Minimum 5 years? experience in associated clinical or informatics positions
Minimum 5 years? experience in project management and provider engagement
Demonstrates strong project management capabilities with an entrepreneurial focus.
Thrives in a collaborative atmosphere and is enthusiastic working on a team.
Experience with clinical information systems and proven ability to produce quality results.
Experience with quality reporting as it relates to telehealth requirements within the Quality Payment Program
Experience with adult training design and implementation.
Ability to communicate effectively with providers, listening to any concerns, and translate those into actionable solutions.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
