Outside Sales Representative - Pella Job Opening in Hays, Kansas - Pella Products of Kansas is looking for an individual to represent NW Kansas as an outside sales representative. This job entails, but is not limited to:
Cultivating new business and maintaining existing clients
Jobsite evaluation, new construction blueprint interpretation
Quote generation via on-line based quoting application
Account and territory management via online CRM application
Travel within a [mile] radius to meet and prospect customers
Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors
Negotiate sales, close business
Represent Pella Products of Kansas as the Professional in the field
The following list of skills and traits will be required for the position:
Computer savvy: this job uses computers to manage the business, quote projects and communicate with internal and external customers. A candidate with a lack of computer skills will not succeed in this position
Utilization of Customer Relationship Management system (CRM). The representative in this position must utilize the CRM system to manage their daily activities, follow up on quotes and maximize their time in the field
Independent: From initial training through continued self-motivation, a successful candidate in this position must be able to operate independently and be motivated by hitting sales goals and building business.
Competitive: A successful outside sales representative will be competitive and have the drive to win jobs and compete to earn contractor business.
While being independent, the representative must operate under the company?s core values and operate in a manner consistent with these values
*Other helpful skills/knowledge: Previous window & door or building product sales experience, previous outside sales experience, working knowledge of the contractor (trade) business.
