This candidate has a strong background in Software Engineering for modern web applications, of the like seen at Asana, Facebook, and Google Apps.
You will be working with a small experienced team of web developers utilizing HTML5/CSS3, , Angular2, NodeJS/Express, MySQL, MongoDB, and Amazon Web Services. The position requires: self-driven and self-motivated personality, technical skills, leadership, commitment, attention to detail, adaptable "polyglot? mindset, excellent communication & strong interpersonal skills, great organizational skills.
Under limited supervision, responsible for developing software systems and components. Contribute to requirements definition, design and reviews. Participate in all stages of software development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, software system design, coding, testing, release, and support. Provide technical expertise in a small team focused on small well defined deliverables of highly stunning visual features running on a desktop or mobile browser. Follow a documented software development process and contribute to process improvements. Ensure software created and released conforms to quality requirements by accurately writing and executing test plans. Mentor less experienced team members, and non-technical staff, on technical matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Software development of front-end (in browser) application, and back-end micro services
Experience implementing modern Dynamic web app User Experience with libraries such as bootstrap, ember, knockout, Material Design, or equivalent.
Experience implementing modern Responsive web apps across desktop & mobile
Software design and review
Automate everything, but particularly: Unit, EndToEnd test design and implementation, and be responsible to analyze and report results
Investigation and root cause analysis of app and tool pipeline defects
Adapt source control and build tools for the needs of the development team
Maintain and run tools and processes that support and automate software product release
Act as a liaison between development and user community for instruction, support, troubleshooting
Identify, report, and investigate problems for bug tracking
Strong focus on fluid, polished User Experience

Strong oral and written English. Articulate and concise communication skills
Ability to work and participate in a team setting with an open, collaborative communication style
Strong problem solving and debugging skills, eye for detail, ability to anticipate and find corner cases
Proficient in design of algorithms and datastructures

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or STEM field
Accomplished mid/senior engineers (5+ yrs of professional software development experience)
