Human Resources Job Opening in Rochester, Minnesota - Star Transportation has an immediate opening in Human Resources at our Rochester headquarters, working in the passenger transportation industry. Collectively there are three small passenger transport companies privately owned and operated the successful applicant will be supporting. As our HR representative, your position will be inclusive of all three divisions of Limo, Taxi, and Shuttle.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education requirements include an Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
A Minimum of 1 year of experience working in Human Resources
Excellent communication skills
Presentation skills
Computer skills- word processing, email, etc..
Writing skills
Must be able to work in a team environment
JOB DUTIES
Internal Auditing
Audit all drivers files for Rochester Shuttle, Med City Taxi and Star Transportation for compliance. Any deviations shall be brought to the attention of the CFO, and HR will take the necessary corrective action for the company and driver to be in compliance.
Audit company handbook, hiring documents, and training materials for employment practices violations and effectiveness to achieve a high quality, knowledgeable workforce.
Audit office admin and managers for compliance with job expectations, and OSHA guidelines.
Onboarding & Staffing
Take the lead on posting open positions, recruiting, interviewing, and filling open positions with Rochester Shuttle, Med City Taxi and Star Transportation.
Work with managers to ensure adequate staffing coverage for office and driving positions.
Review staff schedules for optimal coverage and efficiency.
