Assistant Project Surveyor/CAD Technician Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - HILGARTWILSON a Civil Engineering firm is seeking Assistant Project Surveyor/CAD Technician to become a part of our growing team. The ideal candidates should have prior experience with survey related AutoCAD drawings and knowledge of Civil 3D, is very organized and efficient, analytical, has great attention to detail and is a team player.
Our team is involved in a variety of private and public sector projects and has extensive experience working together on many of the Valley?s largest and most prestigious master planned communities, as well as retail, office, educational, healthcare, and mixed use developments. Our diversity of expertise provides our clients with a comprehensive resource for civil engineering and consulting needs.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Use CAD Standards to prepare electronic drawings from marked-up plans and/or verbal instruction
Preparation and of boundary, topographic and ALTA/NSPS surveys, subdivision plats and results of surveys
Produce metes and bounds legal description and exhibits
Complete As-built drawings
Assist in other land surveying and civil engineering related work.
Organize and schedule work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree or computer related certification and minimum of two years of experience with private or public civil projects.
Experience with boundary calculations and deed interpretations.
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD
Experience with Civil 3D 2012 preferred.
LSIT not required but preferred
