Underwriting Assistant Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - Dynamic and established Phoenix insurance company is seeking an experienced administrator to assist with administrative duties and coordinate policies with the Underwriting team.
Responsibilities will include:
Support Underwriters in servicing clients in the healthcare industry
Manage incoming proposal requests from clients
Create and coordinate underwriting files
Enter information into the underwriting systems and interacting with outside clients via email and telephone.
Qualifications:
Driven & Goal oriented
Previous experience in an office environment
Experience with Microsoft Office
Self-motivated and able to work independently & in a team environment
Communication skills to successfully interact with current and potential customers on a daily basis.
*Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with stop loss insurance and/or self-funded group health plans. *Experience with Group Health Insurance claim reports is a Plus
