Plug and Play IT provides managed dedicated and Cloud hosting, managed security services, colocation, and consulting services. We have an immediate need for a Sales Representative to join our team.
The Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting, cold calling, cultivating partners, networking, and closing deals generated by these actions. We?re looking for a talented, driven hunter, and confident salesperson.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ideal candidates will have an understanding of data center services including Cloud, Dedicated Hosting, Colocation and Infrastructure as a Service products.
Prospecting, identifying, qualifying businesses and call on those accounts.
Cold calling
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations to decision-makers.
Networking and partner development
Consistently meet or exceed target sales quotas
Participate in trade shows, networking events and seminars as required
Close new business
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Should have 3+ years proven sales experience in managed services, hosting, IT professional services or a related field
Should have direct experience in the Outsource/IT Service/MSP business
Ability to generate and close complex sales opportunities
Must demonstrate ability to successfully meet quota and sales objectives
High attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Must have strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Must have the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
