Academic Coordinators are responsible for helping foreign exchange students from around the world to have a quality experience with their host families and schools. Specifically, Academic Coordinators recruit host families, coordinate with local schools, and serve as an advocate for the student during their time in the United States. The position requires an interest in international exchange, good communication skills, timely submission of paperwork, enthusiasm, and an ability to work independently. Experience with foreign cultures and teens a definite bonus. Hours are flexible and vary by month.
