Accounting Supervisor Job Opening in Roseville, Michigan - We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to oversee our accounting department?s daily operations. The Accounting Supervisor is responsible overseeing, implementing, and maintaining our accounting systems, procedures and policies. This position ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and acts as liaison between customers, company, vendors, government, strategic partners and CPA?s in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained.
Duties will include:
Supervise Accounting personnel and accounting department activities.
Oversees billings and collections. Oversee customer accounts including monitoring credit limits, past due and balances. Make collection calls as needed. Correspond with sales rep?s and customers for resolution of outstanding balances.
Monthly balancing, reconciliation, and closing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory.
Must have solid knowledge of accounting systems and strong Excel skills. Knowledge of general accepted accounting principles is required.
