Description Summary: Responsible for assisting accounting team in all financial reporting and accounting related services required of corporate accounting. Junior Accountant will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.

?JOB DESCRIPTION
- Must have an understanding of GAAP, general ledger, and other accounting related systems.
- Must have experience with monthly and annual financial closing process, journal entries, and GL account reconciliation and analysis.
- Responsible for meeting the timelines in the monthly financial closing schedule.
- Reconciles and analyzes various company General Ledgers.
- Insures appropriateness and correctness of entries.
- Responsible for the review and/or preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages including joint venture reports.
- Drive the accounting systems and processes with accuracy and efficiency at the core.
?QUALIFICATIONS
?- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in public or private accounting
?- Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial statements
?- Highly organized, detail oriented disposition
- Proficient with accounting software and various computer programs including MS Excel
- Must possess professional attitude and represent company in a positive manner
- Advanced computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel
- Strong work ethic; team player attitude
- Bachelor?s in Accounting required
- Experience with joint venture accounting, and public accounting
- Exceptional organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education Requirement: Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting
Experience: 1-2 Years of Relevant Experience
Required license or certification: CPA preferred
