Reporting Analyst Job Opening in West Des Moines, Iowa - Reporting Analyst an exciting opportunity awaits a talented reporting analyst! as the reporting analyst, you will be responsible for completing reporting requests and creating performance summaries that will originate from ad hoc reporting requests from the reporting inbox or from a standard agreed upon reporting package. you will need to engage with customers proactively to clarify requirements and optimize the usefulness of the reports while also learning more about the mechanics of the departments being served. daily responsibilities: ? utilize hyperion reporting tool data sources ? self-validate reporting output by reviewing system or by doing a sensibility review by reviewing same results compared to previous time period. ? utilize excel graph functionality to create graphs showing trends of data provided ? manipulate data and format data efficiently using excel tools as pivot tables and v-look ups with a goal of summarizing data ? complete accurate, timely, and properly formatted ad hoc and standardized reporting requests ? achieve turnaround time requirements for ad hoc and standard reporting requests ? work collaboratively with internal or external customers to properly clarify their requirements and objectives ? provide supporting data for departmental dashboard reporting ? participates in and/or leads interdepartmental projects ? perform continual maintenance on operational dashboards and kpi database due to changes in customer needs ? train team members on business practices and technical processes and provides on-going coaching to less experienced analysts this is a contract to full-time opportunity. salary upon conversion 45,000-60,000 doe. perks include a casual dress code, tuition reimbursement, generous benefit and vacation package and a fun working environment! for immediate and confidential consideration, please send a current resume to today!
