Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Opening in Gordon, Nebraska - This position performs respiratory care procedures upon physician request. Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases and/or illness.
Initiates, conducts, modifies and monitors the effects of respiratory care treatment plans, including therapeutic, diagnostic, monitoring and rehabilitation based on healthcare provider approved protocols and written physician order.
Administers respiratory therapy medications via hand held nebulizers and large volume aerosols
Provides Respiratory Therapy modalities within the respiratory therapy scope of practice.
Sets up equipment and manages patients requiring invasive and noninvasive ventilation. This includes BIPAP and CPAP.
Performs and maintains documentation.
Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be a graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program and current RRT credentialed. Must have a current/active license in the state of Nebraska and BLS certification. Two years? experience is preferred.
