Job Description:
CPA or EA required
5 plus years of public accounting experience preparing tax returns--Individual, Corporate, LLC, Partnership, Non-Profit, Trusts
Review individual and business tax returns prepared by tax accounting staff
Preparation of complex returns
Manage staff team and develop best practice procedures
Maintains workflow with staff team to meet tax deadlines
Meet with clients to discuss tax planning strategies
Addresses IRS dealings and resolves client issues
Working knowledge of UltraTax is preferred, but not necessary
Working knowledge of journal entries, bookkeeping, payroll and sales taxes
Experienced in QuickBooks
Positive attitude and client service focus
About Four Peaks Wealth and Accounting, LLC: Sterling Financial Services merged with Flagstaff-based Four Peaks Wealth Management earlier in 2017. We are now operating as an integrated business, and with our broader service offering, we have changed our name to Four Peaks Wealth and Accounting. The combined entity will operate out of Sedona and Flagstaff, along with a satellite office in the Village of Oak Creek.
In our accounting division, we have completed our 32nd tax season, and we have built our practice to handle a high volume of clients with care and compassion. We have 12 full-time and 3 part-time employees, tax preparers, bookkeepers, and administrative positions.
