Staff Accountant Job Opening in Plympton, Massachusetts - Up to $50K!
Our client is a great South Shore company and is looking to hire a staff accountant to help them continue to succeed!
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries for the month end close covering areas in the balance sheet, accounts payable, G&A and payroll
Review timecards for payroll supervisor
Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
Manage accounts payable process in addition to expense reporting
Assist with financial statement preparation and intercompany reconciliations
Prepares sales tax reconciliation
Reconciles inventory
Reconcile and Pay Sales/Use tax
Quarterly and Annual review with auditors
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Economics preferred
Minimum 3 years accounting experience
Proficiency in medium sized accounting system
Well organized, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills
The successful candidate will be flexible and fully engaged and will have an ?ownership? attitude

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
