Staff Accountant Job Opening in Raymond, New hampshire - Granite State Specialties is a full service Construction Specialties Company offering a wide variety of products such as Toilet Partitions, Toilet & Bath Accessories, Lockers, Unistrut, Metal Shelving & Bulk Storage, Wire Mesh & Security Fencing, Marker & Tack Boards, Window Treatments, Wall Protection & Corner Guards, Cubicle & Curtain Track, Fire Extinguishers & Cabinets, Appliances Mailboxes & Postal Specialties, and Entrance Mats.
Our customer-devoted Estimating Department and Project Management staff, combined with our skilled Installations Department makes Granite State Specialties the company of choice for any Construction Specialty projects.
We are seeking a part time Accountant who will be responsible for all aspects of our accounting, tax and benefit programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Processing of accounts payable.
Credit card reconciliations.
Payroll processing for Union and Non-Union including all payroll tax filings.
Process Union dues
Order supplies
Filing
Any other tasks the Controller may have.
Qualifications:
Associates in Accounting or Finance or equivalent Experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills, ability to influence others, tact, diplomacy.
Strong organizational and multi-task skills are a must.
Strong computer skills. Advanced MS Office experience.
Construction accounting software experience or similar system experience helpful.
Union exposure helpful.
