Opportunity exists for an experienced detail-oriented Payroll Clerk who possesses excellent time management skills, an ability to handle highly confidential information and an ability to work independently in a team environment.
The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for end to end processing of our GNCA payroll in accordance with employment laws. Responsibilities to include ensuring that computing, withholding and deductions associated with net pay are processed correctly; organizing, editing and reviewing forms associated with federal, state and local authorities; overseeing the distribution of paychecks or arranging direct deposit programs; maintaining timesheets; responding to employee inquiries concerning payroll matters; processing unemployment claims; and ensuring payroll records are updated. The Payroll Clerk will also provide support in functional areas of human resources and accounting departments.
One or more years of payroll, accounting or equivalent experience required along with advanced computer skills and awareness of HIPPA rules and regulations. Must be respectful of people and their cultural, religious and ethnic differences.
