NYC Medicaid-Field Representative Job Opening in Clifton, New jersey - Job Description:
Full time NY Medicaid field service representative to assist customers at home and/or place of business. Assist customers to complete government assistance application and, serve as a liaison between Financial Counselor and customers.
Required Skills and Experience
Education/Training:
High School Diploma
Minimum of 3 years of experience with customer advocacy
Qualifications:
Certified Application Counselor certification
Must be bilingual
Must have a valid driver?s license and personal transportation required
Must be willing to travel throughout New York City including Long Island as needed on a daily basis.
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Experience with enrollment in (Medicaid/Child HealthPlus) products
Responsibilities:
Interact and meet with eligible individuals at their homes and /or various sites service area to enroll customer into (NY State Medicaid/Child Health Plus)
Responds to all inquiries regarding the application and renewal process for both new and existing members
Receives, investigate and resolves complaints; follows-up with members to personally resolve difficult situations and ensure customer satisfaction
Tracks, files and inputs all technical documentation in order to ensure all customer accounts correctly reflect activity that was performed
