Software Engineer Job Opening in Newport Beach, California - Titan HST is a rapidly growing start-up company offering 2-way mass emergency communication and next-gen video medicine. Our system is patented and supercharged with the latest tech including Augmented Reality. We have an awesome team and are looking for additional software engineers who possess drive, traditional and unique perspectives, and who are fun to work with.
We are looking for a full-time in-house software engineer with experience in building scalable software applications and infrastructure. This position will require you to flex your software design and engineering skills by planning, building, and testing exciting new features and products our customers are asking for. We work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, so a good ability to communicate and involve your peers in your work is highly encouraged.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science (or related field).
At least 4+ years industry experience using and building software applications in Java (and related frameworks e.g. Spring, JPA, etc).
Experience in building software with Continuous Integration.
Strong SQL and other database-related skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Solid experience with, and knowledge of, JSON and REST APIs.
Java unit testing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Android application experience.
Experience with XMPP applications.
Experience with video streaming software.
