QA Engineer Job Opening in Woodland Hills, California - QA Engineer please submit resume to *** technology is looking for a qa engineer for their client in woodland hills, ca. need a hands on qa engineer involved in all testing activities for projects. essential functions/tasks: ? analyzes requirements ? provides test estimates and test schedule ? provides plan for the scope of work ? creates test strategy, detailed test plan, test cases/scripts ? identifies and creates test data as appropriate for test execution ? executes tests, reports defects, and leads defect triage meetings ? coordinates with stakeholders for testing ? coordinates with dev team for dependencies and test management constraints ? coordinates with offshore as appropriate ? leads overall testing efforts for projects and actively participates in test execution ? track progress for all deliverables and report status ? proactively identify and escalate any issue or risk ? provides root cause analysis for production defects ? mentors/trains new team members ? assist with automation efforts and execution ? contributes to process improvement efforts
