Python Developer Job Opening in Wayne, Pennsylvania - Python Developer needed for exciting Wayne, PA based start-up. Build Big Data solutions in the Risk and Fraud sector of banking and Financial Services. Working closely with the teams Data Scientists, you will take their design and solution concepts and turn them into high performance code. Equity play with Stock Options.
We're looking to add a strong python developer to our team.
5+ years, probably more.
Software Science background.
Preferably doing data-science related or other computationally complex python programming.
I don't think that someone who has been building python-based web applications is going to have what it takes.
Should have some experience with multi-threading and other high performance computing techniques in python.
Requirements:
Accomplished Python Developer
Experience with multi-threaded, big data, distributive architectures and frameworks such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Cloudera, Hive, Spark, ElasticSearch, etc... for the purposes of conducting big data analytics.
Plays well in the sandbox on your smallish team of 7
Experience designing scalable, highly available and fault tolerant systems
