Staff Accountant Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Fast growing real estate company has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant. This a newly created position due to growing demand in accounting. The ideal candidate will begin as the staff accountant and advances as the company grows. The position will have the opportunity to perform the full cycle accounting for the entities (with limited activities) responsible for, which is great foundation for career advancement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare/Post journal entries based on property's financials
Responsible for Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
Bank reconciliations
Record daily deposits
Maintain cash ledgers
Assist Controller with month-end closing duties and other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Minimum 2-year experience in general accounting
Able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-pace and deadline driven environment.
