Financial Sales Assistant Job Opening in Spartanburg, South carolina - REPORTS TO : Financial Consultant
SUMMARY : Provide administrative , sales and marketing support for the Financial Department.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES :
Work with Financial Consultant to develop skills in working with clients to assess their situation and offer appropriate financial products to achieve their goals. This will include meeting with and calling on clients/potential clients to develop new business.
Develop a good working knowledge of the products and services offered by the Financial Services Department and keep up with changes in the offerings, rates and conditions.
Set up and maintain all necessary files, records and reports for First South Bank and UVEST; as well as FINRA compliance.
Handle client service needs and make appointments for new investment opportunities.
Help develop marketing plans by generating referrals from clients as well as bank employees.
Help setup and implement marketing via mail and/or phone calls to client base.
Adhere to all policies, laws, regulations and procedures put forth by First South Bank, UVEST and FINRA.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, etc.)
Experience in financial reporting. Background in General Account and Cost Accounting preferred.
