Medical Collector Job Opening in Mahwah, New jersey - MTBC (NASDAQ: MTBC) provides leading-edge healthcare information technology solutions and business services to healthcare providers practicing in ambulatory settings. We are seeking an experienced medical collector, with experience in medical A/R follow up, denials, and appeals to join our team in Mahwah, NJ. Previous experience with orthopedics is required. Past leadership experience is a plus.
Qualifications :
Background in Orthopedics Billing required
2+ years medical billing collections experience
Ability to identify trends for optimizing reimbursements
Experience with medical A/R follow up, denials, and appeals
Experience with medical billing software (Intergy a plus)
Working knowledge and experience with government and commercial insurance companies
Experience with NY and NJ Workers Comp and No Fault is a plus
Professional communication (both written and verbal) and strong customer service skills
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with Physicians and Insurance Carriers
Professional demeanor
Excellent organization with ability to handle Competing Priorities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
